U.S. Facts
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 53 million
Americans have disabilities, 33 million of which are severe. Therefore, 33
million American families deal daily with extra doctors visits, special care
needs and socially-created obstacles to fit in with the "social norm".
One obstacle these families face is a lack of acceptance
in churches. About 90 percent of special needs families are un-churched!
Do you know someone with a
disability? God does......He created them!!
The "You Are Wonderfully
Made" Special Needs
Ministry reaches out to families and children that have all kinds of
disabilities and hindrances.
We exist to empower those in our
community with disabilities through God's Word and God's love. You will get
the opportunity to attend worship services for adults and children.
That's right!! Everyone gets a
chance to be actively involved in the life of the church!!

“You are Wonderfully Made”
A Special Needs Ministry

“I praise You because I am fearfully and
wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
— Psalm 139:14

Do you have a child, family member, or friend with special
needs? Are you looking for a place where they can be loved and accepted?
Perhaps a place where they can feel free to fellowship and worship the Lord
in their own special way?
Well, here is some good news for you and your family! A NEW
Special Needs Ministry has been developed called, “You are Wonderfully
Made.” The purpose of this ministry is to minister to those with
physical disabilities; mental, social and emotional impairments; learning
differences, including ADD, ADHD, Autism, CP, etc. While understanding the
needs of God’s “wonderfully made,” this ministry will create an environment
whereby the good news of Jesus will be taught in a variety of learning
capabilities.
One of the major aspects of Jesus Christ's earthly ministry
involved outreach to children and to individuals with all kinds of
disabilities. In fact, they were at the forefront of much of what happened
in the Gospels. Through these individuals, God showed His great love and
compassion for all people! In following our Lord's example, the Church is to
reach out to similar people with special needs.
